The most important attribute to me is serving. It is important to me because I have been given a serving heart to help others. God put me on this earth to serve Him through serving others. Through Northstar, I have opportunities to help my classmates with school work, and we talk to each other about life. I am also able to pray for people, mainly the teammates I billet with.  

Have you been involved with FCA or FCA Hockey in the past? What has been your experience with us? How has FCA Hockey impacted you? 

I have been involved with Fellowship of Christian Athletes Hockey for 2 years. My experience with FCA has been amazing. I have loved every second of it. FCA has impacted my life in every way, from the relationships with my God, family, friends, coaches, and teammates. Another way FCA has impacted my life is that it has allowed my faith to mature. I pray every night at home, and I am comfortable praying out loud in groups. I consider God in all of my decisions because He’s so much a part of who I am.

What is your favorite scripture verse? Why is this important to you? 

John 3:30 “He must become greater, I must become less.” This verse is important to me because it says “He must become greater” which means that Jesus Christ  needs to be at the center of my life and he is the most important. Then it says “I must become less” which means I need to take all my needs and wants to Him, and I worry less about them because my focus is on God. I do not have to try to be noticed, because my aim is to serve Him. He is in control of the plans He has for me.

What else should we know about you?

Next to hockey, I love to go surfing behind wake boats in the summer, and I also love to workout in my spare time.
